Maynards Colheita Tawny 2009 Port is an irreverent, mature although very elegant Port wine. It is a port wine that aged 10 years in French oak barrels and whose aromas stand out are the caramelized fruits, the vanilla, lemon balm, and caramel.
Winemaking:
Maynards Colheita Tawny 2009 Port was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 10 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing in wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Sousão, Tinta Amarela, Tinto Cão.
