Messias Colheita Porto 2008 is a magnificent Port wine of the Porto Tawny wine style. It's soft, complex and with subtle aromas of caramelized fruits, roasted almonds and fresh figs. It has good acidity and mild vanilla aromas wrapped into citric fragrances of caramelized orange peel.
Winemaking:
Messias Colheita Port 2008 was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 10 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Messias Colheita Porto 2008 is an elegant, rich and complex Port wine. It presents aromas of young, and vibrant fruits, raisins and caramelized apricots, extraordinary balsamic notes wrapped in citric acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 10ºC-12ºC.
