Croft Late Bottled Vintage Port 2012 features several scents of wild berry fruits along with subtle flavours of raisins, dried fruits and juicy tannins. It has a delicious acidity.
Winemaking:
Croft Late Bottled Vintage Port 2012 is produced from the blend of powerful, rich and fruity wines of a single year by the traditional Port wine's method. The grapes are tread in granite "lagares", the wine is stored and ages, in large oak wood vats, for a period of 6 years old and it is bottled in the same way as a Vintage Port Wine, without any prior treatment.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional.
Tasting Notes:
Croft Late Bottled Vintage Port 2012 features richness, density and lots of ripe dark fruit flavours along elegant tropical fruit scents and subtle notes of spices. The wine is perfectly balanced, with sweetness and a wonderful acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
