Fagote Grande Reserva Vinhas Velhas is a red wine of great aromatic concentration and of tannic structure from the Douro region. It presents a complex and comprehensive bouquet, predominating deep mineral notes such as humid earth, graphite and granitic stone along with extraordinary aromas of ripe black fruits and polished and very incisive acidity.
Winemaking:
Fagote Grande Reserva Vinhas Velhas is a red wine produced with autochthonous red grapes from the Douro wine Region, from vines over 40 years old. After a complete destemming of the grapes, the wort was subjected to a long maceration. The fermentation occurred in granite stone mills, at controlled temperatures. The wine was then transferred to French oak barrels where it remained in contact with fine lees for 12 months, before being bottled.

Fagote Grande Reserva Vinhas Velhas is a red wine of enormous complexity and intensity, aromatic concentration and a unique freshness. It has rich and intense aromas of macerated black fruits, balsamic notes, and powerful and succulent tannins. It is a wine which features extraordinary aromatic length, fine with extraordinary acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 16°C à 18°C.
