Jose de Sousa J is a red wine with an opulent and subtle character. It is a full, round and powerful red wine, robust and fruity tannins, aromas of ripe black fruit, macerated, together with delicate mineral and balsamic notes. It is a balanced, fresh and very generous red wine.
Winemaking:
Jose de Sousa J is a red wine produced with red grapes from the Grand Noir, Touriga Francesa, and Touriga Nacional varieties, planted in the wine region of Alentejo. The grapes were vinified in clay amphorae separately and fermented at a controlled temperature. The batches aged in French oak barrels for 9 months, before being mixed and bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Jose de Sousa J is a red wine of enormous exuberance and aromatic breadth from the Alentejo wine region. It presents intense aromas of macerated black fruits, alternating with dark chocolate notes, tobacco leaf nuances and earthy notes. With closed and opulent tannins, it presents a broad aromatic bouquet of black fruits, such as blackberries, plums, figs and blueberry jam, along with perfect acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC.
