Niepoort Charme Clarete is a red wine, Palhete, that presents an accentuated pink colour, and an extraordinary envelopment in its aromas. It mixes freshness of its raspberry and bergamot aromas, with expressive and fruity tannins, expressing itself in live aromas of black cherries and plums. It ends in fantastic acidity.
Winemaking:
Niepoort Charme Clarete is a red wine produced from red grapes of old vines from the Douro wine region. After a gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes were fermented in granitic Lagares at controlled temperatures. After this process, the wine has stayed for 10 months into new's French oak barrels prior to being bottled.
