Pretexto is an elegant and rich red wine that presents an elegant and mature tannic structure and a fine and very well-defined aromatic bouquet. Delicate aromas of wild red fruits such as blackberries, raspberries and blueberries stand out. It is a delicate red wine, with balsamic aromas, mineral nose, silky and velvety tannins and very elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
Pretexto is a red wine from the Dão wine region, produced from the indigenous red varieties of Jaen, Alfrocheiro, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Nacional. It was fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures and aged in French oak vats and in barrels for 11 months before being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Pretexto is an extremely delicate and aromatic red wine, which presents very ripe red fruit aromas with a lively and delicate character. It presents very polished acidity, fruit with medium concentration, impressive mineral balance and velvety structure.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
