Quinta do Portal Tinta Barroca is a red wine with an imposing and captivating structure, highlighting aromas of fresh red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, accompanied by subtle floral notes and a delicate touch of spices. Its freshness is balanced by light balsamic nuances, which lend complexity and depth to a markedly fruity core.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Portal Tinta Barroca is a red wine produced with red grape varieties of Tinta Barroca from the Douro wine region. After the fermentation process, which took place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it stayed in contact with fine lees and subjected to regular stirring for 20 months, prior to being bottled.

Quinta do Portal Tinta Barroca is a complex, rich, and intensely aromatic red wine. Aromas of fresh red fruits, such as cherries and raspberries, stand out, enveloped in floral fragrances and balsamic notes. It has a soft and velvety texture, with well-integrated acidity and present, yet smooth, tannins.
Store and Serve Advice:
The bottle should be stored lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
