Quinta dos Castelares Grande Reserva is an intensely aromatic, full-bodied red wine that reveals an enormous concentration of fruit at its core. It presents aromas of ripe black fruits, dominated by flavours of black plum and cherries, combined with exuberant balsamic notes and very elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta dos Castelares Grande Reserva is a red wine produced from red grapes of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional,wich are autochthonous varieties from the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated with the skins prior to being transferred to stainless steel vats where the fermentation process took place. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it was subjected to regular stirring for 18 months prior to being bottled.

Quinta dos Castelares Grande Reserva is a full-bodied red wine with an intensely aromatic character. It presents a full bouquet full of aromas of ripe black fruits, balsamic notes, spices and vanilla and very elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
