Borges Reserva Tawny Port is an evolved, soft, and elegant Tawny Port wine. Presents notes of red confit fruits, notes of ripe citrus, caramelized orange peel, and oven-baked quinces. It is a Port wine that presents notes of resin, dried fruits, and well-integrated acidity.
Winemaking:
Borges Reserva Tawny Port is a Port wine produced with autochthonous red grapes of Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, and Tinta Roriz from the Douro wine region. The wine was produced by the classical Porto wine method were the grapes that were foot trodden in granitic Lagares and the fermentation took place at controlled temperature with a pre-maceration. When the wort was reached the desired sweetness value, the fermentation was interrupted by the addition of brandy, and then the wine was aged in French oak barrels until bottled for an average period of 7 years.

Tasting Notes:
Borges Reserva Tawny Port is a Tawny Port wine with good ageing notes, complexity, being a smoothy Port wine, and well structured. It is a Port wine that presents aromas of red fruits confit, with nuances of ripe citrus, dried fruits, and quinces roasted in the oven. It is elegant, soft Port wine, with depth and balanced acidity.

Serve temperature 8-10°C.
