Pocas Special Reserve is a very well crafted Tawny Port, intense with fresh and polished fruits aroma due to the stage in oak barrels. It exudes aromas of raisins, dry apricots, spring flowers, nuances of honey, hazelnuts, and ends in an extraordinary acidity.

Pocas Special Reserve is a Tawny Port wine produced from autochthonous red grapes varieties such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, and Tinto Cão. The grapes were foot trodden in granitic Lagares and after a long maceration, the fermentation process took place at controlled temperatures. When the wine had achieved the sweetness desired the wine spirit (Aguardente), was added to stop the fermentation. The wine was then transferred to oak vats where it has stayed for an average period of 6-7 years old, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Pocas Special Reserve is a rich, fresh and lush Porto Tawny wine from the Douro region. It is a wine that has complex aromas of well-ripened fruits, floral perfumes, notes of hazelnut and walnut and very persistent acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serve temperature 12-13°C.
