Colheita Selecionada Carbriz presents a white beautiful citric wine colour, with greenish tones. It's a Colheita Selecionada with a unique aromatic intensity as Dão Region's white wines, predominantly with tropical fruits, citrus flowers and lime tree. It has a distinct volume and it's a very elegant and harmonious white wine.
Cabriz White Wine | Colheita Selecionada from Dão
Winemaking:
The grapes for Cabriz White Wine Colheita Selecionada were manually harvested followed by total destemming, soft crushing and pressing without contact with the skins. The musts were clarified at low temperatures for 24 hours. The different varieties were vinified separately in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of about 16 °C for a period of approximately 15 days. After 4 months of ageing in stainless steel tanks, the wine was bottled.
Grape Varieties:
Bical, Cerceal, Encruzado, Malvasia Fina.
Tasting Notes:
It presents a bright yellow colour, with greenish nuances. It is a wine of great aromatic intensity, where aromas of pears, green apples and citrus fruits predominate. In the mouth, it is very fresh with mineral nuances. It is a very harmonious, elegant and balanced wine.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature of 8°C to 10°C.
