Guiyot is an impressively elegant, concentrated Douro red wine with an unparalleled and delicious aromatic intensity. It expresses notes of ripe black fruits, some aromas of wild red fruits, minerality, and freshness. With opulent and austere tannins, it combines extraordinary baslsamic notes with sublime acidity.
Winemaking:
Guiyot is a red wine produced from red grapes of one single centenary vineyard plot from the Douro region. After the harvest, the grapes macerated in granitic Lagares before being pressed, at low temperatures. The grapes were trodden and the musts have fermented in the granite presses at low temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained for 24 months before being bottled.

Guiyot is a boutique red wine produced with red grapes from a single centenary plot from the Douro wine region, it's a red wine with an impressive structure, immense and delicious concentration and soft balsamic notes. It is a red wine with sober and elegant tannins, even juicy, that balance an extraordinarily aromatic bouquet of ripe black fruits with the freshness and elegance of the aromas of bergamot and Mediterranean pine.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
