Quinta da Manoella VV Vinha Velhas is an opulent and complex red wine from the Douro region. Quinta da Manoella VV Vinha Velhas is a red wine, produced from a field blend of red grapes of old vines, of Quinta da Manoella, with more than 100 years old. After the foot trodding process, in traditional granitic Lagares, has occurred a maceration process, of 28 days, at cold. The wine has fermented in French oak vats at controlled temperatures and after being transferred for new's French oak barrels it has stayed 16 months prior to being bottled.

Sandra Tavares da Silva and Jorge Serôdio Borges began their adventure in 2001. At first, they had no vineyards of their own but had a common dream of developing a personal project in which they could express their enological vision.
