Barros 20 Year Tawny Port is produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is the blend of the best Port wine's batches ageing in oak casks with an average of age of 20 years, produced from different grape varieties from the vineyards of the Douro Valley. It is aged, for an average of 20 years, in French oak casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Barros 20 Year Tawny Port is surprisingly fresh for a 20-year-old wine, although it has plenty wood flavours, complemented by ripe citrus and a firm, slightly austere acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
