Winemaking:
For the creation of Macieira Brandy Colecao D'Autor, lots were limited selected of the best wine brandies aged in American oak barrels, 8 to 28 years, who gave birth to a new blend intense and generous. It was chosen a special selection of exceptional quality barrels that dignify the history of Macieira since its foundation in 1885, with a complexity and maturity that reflect the passage of time.
Grape Varieties:
Blend of aged aguardentes (Brandies).
Tasting Notes:
Macieira Brandy Colecao D’Autor presents a vibrant honey hue. The flavours suggest vanilla and custardy flan layered over a smoky core, finishing long with fig and raisin richness.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 18ºC-20ºC with a pre-heated cognac glass.
