Barao de Vilar Colheita Port 2001 was produced by the traditional Porto wine method. This is a wine of an exceptional quality, from a single harvest. It maturated in wood, for over 15 years, although, Colheitas Port wine never are less than 7 years of ageing on wood casks.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinto Cão, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Barao de Vilar Colheita Port 2001 is a wine which almost its fresh fruits are intact, with some hints of wood ageing flavours and with the firsts signs of evolutions aromas as raisins, caramelized orange peel and some wood tannins. It's a very elegant and fresh wine.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
