Coutada Velha Barrel Nº2 is a red wine that presents complex aromas of ripe red fruits, with balsamic notes, and round and fruity tannins. In the nose, it expresses aromas of plum and cherry with delicate notes of vanilla and spices along with very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Coutada Velha Barrel Nº2 is a red wine produced with red grapes of Syrah, Aragonês and Alicante Bouschet planted in the Alentejo region. After the fermentation process occurred at controlled temperatures, in stainless steel tanks, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels for 12 months, where it stayed in contact with fine lees and was subjected to regular stirring prior to being bottled.

Coutada Velha Barrel Nº2 is a red wine from Alentejo that presents complex aromas of ripe red fruit, highlighting flavours of red plum, cherries and currants. It presents noble balsamic notes, with emphasis on vanilla and spices, as black pepper, and finishes with very polished tannins and balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
