Xisto Ilimitado is an elegant, mineral and aromatically harmonious red wine. Highlights notes of wild red fruits, such as raspberries, blackberries and berries. It also highlights a delicate floral perfume along with flavours of pomegranate and cherry, balsamic notes and polished acidity.
Winemaking:
Xisto Ilimitado is a red wine produced from red grapes of Rufete, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Amarela, Malvasia Preta, and Donzelinho Tinto from the Douro wine region. After the harvest, the grapes were macerated in oak vats, before being pressed, for 72 hours. After the fermentation process, at controlled temperatures, the wine was transferred to used French oak barrels where it was subjected to regular stirring, for 12 months followed by 5 months in stainless steel tanks, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Xisto Ilimitado is an aromatic, elegant, and velvety red wine from the Douro wine region. It presents clean aromas of ripe red fruits, with notes of raspberry, cherry and pomegranate, with delicate balsamic notes such as vanilla and dry tea leaves. It presents solid and fruity tannins, mineral nuances and very balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
