Cistus Grande Reserva is a red wine of enormous complexity and intensity, with rich aromas of ripe black fruits, coconut, dark chocolate, and pepper. In the mouth is a full body wine, medium acidity balanced with present tannins and a long finish.
Winemaking:
Cistus Grande Reserva is a red wine produced from traditional Douro grape varieties such as Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca and Touriga Nacional. Fermentation occurs at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks after prolonged maceration. After fermentation, the wine remains for 21 months in French oak barrels and for 34 months in bottle before being released to the market.

Tasting Notes:
Cistus Grande Reserva is an elegant and very expressive red wine from the Douro region. It reveals aromas of ripe black fruit, austere and very firm tannins with well-integrated wood notes. In the mouth it has a good freshness and intensity, with a long and very powerful finish.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
