In 2011 Taylor's launched Taylor's Vintage Port 2011 and Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2011. Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2011 is a wine made after choosing the best young red wines of the Douro Valley from the vineyards grown on the slopes along the banks of the Douro River. It is a fortified wine, due to the addition of brandy. The maturing of the wine defines the difference between the Vintage Port style and the Late Bottled Vintage Port. The Taylor's Vintage Port 2011 matured for 2 years in French oak wood hulls before being transferred to bottle. The Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage Port 2011 matured for 4 years in French oak casks before being transferred to the bottle. LBV Port Wine were developed as a high quality alternative, but more affordable, and immediately available for consumption. This Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage 2011 is a reference in its category. It is the first choice of the great Porto wine lovers.

Tasting Notes:
Taylor's Late Bottled Vintage Port from Taylor's harvest of 2011 has a deep ruby red color. In the nose the aromas of black fruit, blackberries and currants are dominant. The taste of ripe fruit predominates on the palate. The tannins are firm, intense and persist in the long finish. This is a balanced and fine complex wine.
Store and Serve Advices:
Store in the upright position ± 15 ° C at a constant temperature. Serve at a temperature between 8 - 10ºC.
