João Pires is the latest release from the José Maria Fonseca house. It is a rosé wine with delicate aromas, floral nuances and wild red fruit flavours. It presents balanced minerality, fresh character and elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
João Pires is a rosé wine produced with red grapes of Touriga Nacional, and Moscatel de Setúbal planted in the Peninsula de Setubal wine region. After a short period of maceration, the wine was subjected to a fermentation process at low temperatures. The wine has stayed 4 months in stainless steel tanks, in contact with the fine lees, before being bottled.

Touriga Nacional, Moscatel de Setúbal.
Tasting Notes:
João Pires is a very delicate and elegant rosé wine, which presents a salmon colour, floral aromas and delicious flavours of well-defined red wild fruits and very well-balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
