Cadão Douro Superior is a red wine with complex and intense aromas. It displays notes of ripe black fruits, solid and well-defined tannins, along with aromas of blackberries, plums and blueberries. Delicate balsamic notes intertwine with floral fragrances and fantastic acidity.
Winemaking:
Cadão Douro Superior is a red wine produced from autochthonous red grape varieties of Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz from the Douro wine region. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated for a short period of time prior to being transferred to stainless steel tanks where the fermentation process has taken place. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels where it was subjected to regular stirring for 9 months prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Cadão Douro Superior is a red wine with a broad, complex aromatic bouquet. It displays aromas of ripe black fruits, along with notes of wild red fruits and balsamic touches. With firm and velvety tannins, it presents freshness, a fruity core and very well-balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
