Carm Grande Reserva Red is a wine that represents the entire identity of the region of the Douro Valley. After manual harvesting and selection of the best berries, the grapes were de-stemmed, gently crushed and then subjected to a very rapid temperature drop. A period of cold pre-fermentation immersion followed for about 12 to 24 hours, and fermentation in wooden vats occurred under temperature control between 24 and 26 ° C.
