Casa Ermelinda Freitas Reserva Merlot is a lush and elegant red wine from the region of Peninsula de Setubal. It presents an intense aromatic profile, dominated by notes of very mature black fruits, wild aromas, spices and balsâmic notes. It is a wine of soft tannins, very balanced and with extraordinary acidity.
Winemaking:
Casa de Ermelinda Freitas Reserva Merlot is a red wine produced exclusively with Merlot red grapes planted in the Region of Peninsula de Setubal. After the fermentation process at controlled temperatures, the wine stayed in used French and American oak barrels for 12 months prior to being stabilised, filtered and bottled.
