Duorum Reserva Vinhas Velhas is rich, dense, and a full-bodied red wine. Its aromas are dominated by very ripe black fruits as blackberries and cassis. It has a great aromatic complexity that will increase with time. it has well-balanced acidity with firm and ripe tannins showing a long and persistent ending.
Winemaking:
Duorum Reserva Vinhas Velhas was produced with grapes from the Vineyards of Quinta de Castelo Melhor in the Douro. The grapes were harvested by hand, selected and subjected to controlled cooling followed by a light pressing. The fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28ºC. Ageing took place in 225 and 300 litres French oak barrels for 24 months, 70 % in new oak barrels and 30 % in second and third-year barrels.

Tasting Notes:
Duorum Reserva Vinhas Velhas is a full-bodied red wine, tightly structured with mineral and fruit tannins. There is a ripe juicy background of plum jelly and acidity that makes it in an outstanding wine.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
