Winemaking:
The harvest period occurs in the beginning of September. After the period during which the wine stabilises by using physical processes in stainless steel vats, the wine is filtered before being bottled in the following spring.

Store and Serve Advices:
Best served at 16-18ºC
Purple red color. Aromas of ripe dark-berry fruits, cherries and plums, with complex notes of earth and vanilla. In the mouth it is intense, almost creamy and firm, full of ripe fruit. Fresh and persistent finish.
Buçaco is a red wine that presents rusticity in its aroma, complexity in its structure and elegance in its character. It is a red wine with closed and austere tannins, eloquent in its aromatic bouquet, showing notes of macerated black fruits, floral nuances and balsamic notes along an impressively tuned acidity.
Quinta da Escusa Harvest is a structured and very elegant red wine from the Tejo's region. Of round and sober tannins, it presents aromas of ripe red fruits, subtle nuances of mint and basil along notes of excellent wood, aromas of vanilla and some spices ending in a very balanced acidity.
As Tourigas da Discordia is an extraordinarily aromatic and floral red wine, with a scent of violets and ripe black fruits such as figs, plums and cherries. It is a mineral red wine, fresh, with round and juicy tannins, balsamic notes and very elegant acidity.
Quinta Vale Dona Maria is an opulent red wine from the Douro Region. Loaded with intense aromas of ripe black fruits, presents excellent wood notes, balsamic aromas, notes of black chocolate, dried tobacco leaf and spices. It is an imposing red wine, with fruity and fleshy tannins along with an extraordinary acidity and a great minerality.
Valle de Passos Reserva is a red wine from the region of Trás-os-Montes that presents a ruby color, fresh and delicate aroma with notes of red and black fruits. In the mouth it is elegant, with present acidity and balanced tannins.
