Dona Berta Reserva is a powerful's red wine from the Douro Region, which presents a structure loaded with intense aromas of well-ripened black fruits, mineral notes, juniper berries, vanilla and aromas of macerated fruit compote. It stands out for its extraordinary acidity, set in imposing, fruity and vigorous tannins.
Winemaking:
Dona Berta Reserva is a red wine, produced with autochthones red grape varieties of Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão and Touriga Franca from the Douro Region. Prior to being fermented, the must has been macerated, for a few days, in granitic tanks low temperatures. The wine has maturated in new French oak barrels for 8 months, in contact with fine lees, and has been subjected to a regular stirring on the lasts 2 months prior to being stabilized, filtrated and bottled. In its last stage the wine has remained into the bottle for 18 months.

Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Touriga Franca.
Tasting Notes:
Dona Berta Reserva is a robust and intense red wine from the Douro Region which presents a tannic character and a mineral core loaded by complex ripe black fruit aromas, intense notes of juniper berries and clove, and features a velvety body and a very elegant structure.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
