It has a deep ruby colour and a finely intense and harmonious bouquet, with a prevalence of red fruits such as strawberry and raspberry, black fruits and aromatic components (resin and tobacco). It has an elegant and harmonious finish.
Winemaking:
It was made from A-grade grapes (Douro top quality grapes'rate) from Casa Ferreirinha's vineyards. The grapes were picked at the optimum maturity for this style of wine in order to preserve the natural acidity. The hand-picked bunches were softly de-stemmed and crushed and subsequently fermented in stainless steel tanks, with pumping over and skin maceration, at a controlled temperature of 28ºC. After maceration, malolactic fermentation took place. The wines selected remained in the Douro during the winter in stainless steel tanks. The final blend was based on a careful selection and numerous tastings.

Store and Serve Advices:
It was made to be drunk young. Serve between 15ºC-17ºC.

If you love douro, you know there are several cheap and very good wines. If you just want to elevate the quality a noch, you go for esteva. It's in the little flavours that you immediately feel the difference. Rich string and totally worth it.
