Gonçalves Faria is a deeply complex and juicy red wine, with deep notes of ripe red fruits and hints of delicious ripe black fruit aromas. It stands out for its freshness and density, presenting a velvety, fleshy texture together with powerful tannins and austere. It is a red wine of great quality and sublime and delicate acidity.
Winemaking:
Gonçalves Faria is a red wine produced from red grapes of Baga in the Bairrada wine region. After a gentle press, with total destemming, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After this process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it has stayed, in contact with lees, for 20 months, prior to being bottled.

Gonçalves Faria is an extraordinarily fresh, mineral and full of aromatic concentration red wine. It displays notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and wild strawberries, nuances of black fruits such as blackberries and figs and delicious balsamic notes. Complex in structure, it presents imposing and juicy tannins, together with great acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
