Giz Vinhas Velhas is an intense, fine, elegant and complex red wine. It is a wine of pure character, with aromas of ripe black fruits well marked in its aromatic bouquet, with delicious balsamic notes and opulent and mineral tannins. It is a sublime red wine, fresh, fleshy, mineral and with super fine acidity.
Winemaking:
Giz Vinhas Velhas is a red wine produced from red grapes from a centenary vineyard of Baga in the Bairrada wine region. After a gentle press, with total destemming, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After this process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it has stayed, in contact with lees, for 20 months, prior to being bottled.

Giz Vinhas Velhas is a complex red wine, of great aromatic intensity, fine and pure. It is a red wine full of aromas of ripe black fruits, such as blackberries, cherries and plums, balsamic notes, vanilla and spices and sublime acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
