Herdade do Peso Ícone is a very complex and aromatic red wine, with notes of black fruit, blackberry, tobacco leaves, and menthol. It has an excellent structure, present but silky tannins, and remarkable acidity. The ending is very long and complex.
Winemaking:
Herdade do Peso Ícone is a red wine produced with red grapes of Alicante Bouschet and Syrah planted in the Alentejo region. The wine was subjected to a cold maceration process for 3 days where it was continuously and carefully reassembled. After maceration, the wine was fermented in stainless steel vats for 9 days at controlled temperatures. It was later transferred to new French oak barrels where it aged for 12 months, before being bottled. After being bottled, it remained in the bottle for 18 months before being placed on the market.

Herdade do Peso Ícone is a red wine that has a delicious aromatic profile, expressing aromas of black fruits, black pepper, tobacco leaves, menthol, and blackberries. In the mouth, it stands out with a great balance, excellent structure, juicy tannins, and an enveloping acidity. The finish is very long and elegant.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 15ºC and 18ºC.
