Pedra Cancela Reserva is an exuberant and highly aromatic red wine from the Dão wine region. Of closed purple colour, it presents fragrances to the Mediterranean forest, notes of rosemary and violet together with aromas of very ripe black fruit. With a velvety structure and full tannins, it ends in a very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Pedra Cancela Reserva is a red wine produced from autochthonous red grapes of Touriga Nacional, from the Dão wine region. The wine was subjected to a short cold maceration, after fermentation in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to new French oak barrels, where it remained for 18 months prior to being bottled, and has rested for 2 months before release to consumption.

Tasting Notes:
Pedra Cancela Reserva is a full-bodied, complex red wine, rich in aromas of ripe black fruits, with hints of rosemary and violets and accentuated mineral notes, wet granite stone, moist soil and nuances of white truffle. It ends with lush and full tannins and very balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
