Piteira Reserva is an elegant, fruity and very aromatic red wine. It presents expressive aromas of red fruits involved in vanilla and light smoked notes. It has smooth balsamic nuances, silky smooth tannins and polished acidity.
Winemaking:
Piteira Reserva is a red wine produced with red grapes of Aragonez, Alfrocheiro, Trincadeira, Moreto and Alicante Bouschet planted in the Alentejo wine region. The grapes were vinified at controlled temperatures in stainless steel vats prior to being subjected to a long maceration. The wine was aged in French and American oak barrels, for 6 months, prior to being blended and bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Piteira Reserva is a fruity red wine, involving fruity and round aromas and highlighting balsamic notes in its bouquet. It presents aromas of ripe red fruit, hints of spice and vanilla, silky smooth tannins and elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature between 16ºC and 18ºC.
