Vale da Pia is a red wine from the Douro region that expresses elegant and polished aromas. It has a floral character with well-defined notes of red fruits, violet fragrances and very balanced tannins. It is a fresh, pure red wine and has good acidity.
Winemaking:
Vale da Pia is a red wine produced in the Douro wine region from indigenous varieties of Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, and Touriga Franca. The grapes were gently pressed followed by the fermentation process, in stainless steel tanks, with controlled temperature. After the fermentation process, the wine was staged for 9 months into stainless steel cubes, in contact with the lees, prior to being decanted, filtrated and bottled.

Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca.
Tasting Notes:
Vale da Pia is an elegant and very balanced red wine from the Douro region. It has a very fine and polished bouquet, with well-defined and very safe red fruit aromas. It is a fresh red wine, with a mineral profile, good acidity and subtle floral touch.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
