Poeira Vinha da Torre is a red wine produced in the Douro wine region with red grapes from a vineyard over 70 years old. Poeira Vinha da Torre red wine has a dark purple colour denouncing an intense concentration and complexity. On the nose, it is opulent, with aromas of ripe black fruits, spices and balsamic fragrances ending with balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Poeira Vinha da Torre is a red wine produced from red grapes of old vines planted in the Douro region. After the harvest, the grapes macerated in granite presses before being pressed, at low temperatures. The grapes were trodden and the musts have fermented in the granite presses at low temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it remained for 24 months before being bottled.

Poeira Vinha da Torre is an extraordinarily rich red wine, opulent in aromatic concentration and very elegant in a subtle balance between the various characteristics that make it a perfect red wine, aromatic intensity, fruit concentration, tannins and acidity. It is a red wine that exhibits robust aromas of ripe black fruit, some cherry and black plum, along with balsamic notes, spices and dry tobacco leaf. It presents silky and velvety tannins, rich and austere and the acidity is absolutely extraordinary.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
