Quinta da Romaneira Touriga Franca Vinhas Velhas is a red wine produced from old vines in the Douro wine region. It is an intensely aromatic and floral red wine, rich in aromas of ripe red berries, such as blackberries, currants and raspberries. It is a robust red wine, with well-toned tannins, soft balsamic aromas, and polished acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta da Romaneira Touriga Franca Vinhas Velhas is a red wine produced from red grapes of Touriga Franca from the Quinta da Romaneira in the Douro wine region. After a gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After this process, the wine has been transferred to French oak barrels, where it has stayed for 12 months prior to being bottled.
