Vieira de Sousa Reserva is an expressive red wine in its aromas, revealing intense notes of ripe red fruits, notes of resin, spices, and fragrances of vanilla and violets. It is a dense wine, with juicy and complex tannins and very elegant acidity.
Winemaking:
Vieira de Sousa Reserva is a red wine produced from Touriga Franca, and Touriga Nacional, autochthonous red grapes from the Douro wine region. After a gentle crushing and total destemming, the grapes were fermented in stainless steel vats at controlled temperatures. After this process, the wine was transferred to used's French oak barrels for 12 months, where it was subjected to contact with the lees, prior to being decanted, filtered, and bottled.

Vieira de Sousa Reserva is a very elegant red wine with complex aromas, showing the intensity in the aromas of ripe red fruits, balsamic aromas, and spices. It is a red wine with solid and elegant tannins and very balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
