Vinhas Da Teixuga is a full-bodied, dense red wine, with unique mineral characteristics and fleshy tannin. It shows notes of macerated ripe black fruits and, an excellent concentration of aromatic notes softened by light balsamic and iodized notes. It is an opulent red wine, very elegant and with balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Vinhas Da Teixuga is a red wine produced from red grapes of Jaen's variety from the Dão wine region. After partial destemming, and pressing, the wine was macerated with the skins prior to being transferred to stainless steel vats where the fermentation process took place. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels where it was subjected to regular stirring for 12 months prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Vinhas Da Teixuga is an exuberant and aromatically complex red wine. It has a velvety and dense structure, with expressive notes of macerated black fruit, candied plums and blackberries along with nuances of cassis and balsamic aromas. It is a fresh, mineral and fruity red wine with acidity very well integrated into the fleshy and solid tannins.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 15ºC-18ºC.
