Golden red color. Rich and concentrated aromas of ripe red fruits, and notes of tobacco. The palate is sweet, very round. The finish of the mouth is dry, characteristic, balanced with good wood nuances.
Winemaking:
This fortified wine, Cockburns Special Reserva Porto, was born in 1969 as the first one Port Reserve, creating a new category of Port Wines, which was fundamental for the success of Port and the Douro during the following decades. Matured in oak casks for 5 to 7 years.
