Quinta dos Castelares is a lively and intensely aromatic sparkling wine. From aromas of ripe citrus, highlighted in its bouquet of aromas. There is also a delicate and persistent bubble, fresh and mineral aromas, notes of toasted bread and vibrant acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta dos Castelares is a Portuguese sparkling wine produced according to the Champenoise method with grape varieties of Códega do Larinho from the Douro wine region. The wine was pressed and fermented at controlled temperatures. After the first fermentation process, the wine was transferred to used French oak barrels, where it stayed for 12 months in contact with fine lees prior to being bottled. After the second fermentation, the sparkling wine aged for 12 months in the cellar.

Tasting Notes:
Quinta dos Castelares is a sparkling wine of enormous aromatic intensity and vivacity. It displays expressive notes of ripe citrus fruits, along with nuances of toast, delicate yeast and candied orange peel. It presents a delicate mousse, fine bubbles and elegant acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 10ºC and 12ºC.
