Niepoort Vintage Port 2015 is a very powerful wine, perfumed with violets fragrances intewolved in delicious black raspberries. It has dry tannins with a juicy character along with acidity. The wine has a dry style, very firm and dense.
Winemaking:
Niepoort Vintage Port 2015, is a wine of a single year that ages only two years in barrels and then matures in bottle. This wood-ageing encourages the development of wine and, at the time of bottling, it's matured and is ready to drink without decantation.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Francisca, Tinta Amarela, Sousão, Tinta Roriz.
Tasting Notes:
Niepoort Vintage Port 2015 is rich and concentrated wine, packed with black fruit aromas that lead to powerful fragrances and flavours. The tannins are concentrated and it has an acidity at the end that balances this over-the-top wine.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store the bottle horizontally in a dark place with constant temperature, ideally between 12ºC and 15ºC.
