Porto Cruz is a very elegant and delicate LBV Port wine, with aromas of wild red fruits, notes of ripe black fruits and delicious balsamic nuances. It presents a good balance between the aromas of softly sweetened fruit with its freshness and acidity.
Winemaking:
Porto Cruz LBV is produced from the blend of rich and fruity Port wines of a single year by the traditional Port wine's method. The grapes are tread in granitic Lagares, the wine is stored and it ages, in large oak wood vats, for a period of 4 years old and it is bottled in the same way as a Vintage Port Wine, without any prior treatment.
Grape Varieties:
Touriga Nacional, Tinta Roriz, Touriga Franca, Tinta Barroca.
Tasting Notes:
Porto Cruz is a Late Bottled Vintage Port wine with a velvety structure, complex and of good aromatic length. It displays notes of wild red fruits, aromas of black macerated fruit, vegetal notes and balsamic nuances. It is a port wine that presents a very soft acidity together with very well integrated evolution notes.
Store and Serve Advice:
Serving temperature at 15ºC-16ºC.
