Basilia Reserva is a red wine from the Douro Valley region, which is full-bodied, complex and vigorous. With intense purple color and austere profile, it presents an aromatic bouquet full of ripe red and black fruits, floral notes, spices, and extraordinary balsamic aromas. It is a balanced, seductive wine, with imposing tannins and very soft acidity.
Winemaking:
Basilia Reserva is a red wine produced from autochthones red grapes from old vineyards from Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, and Sousão from the Douro wine region. After a brief maceration, fermentation took place, at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. The wine was transferred to new French oak barrels, where it remained in contact with lees for 12 months, before being bottled.

Basilia Reserva is a red wine from the Douro wine region that presents an extraordinary balance in the combination of a powerful and vigorous structure with impressive elegance and freshness. It expresses balsamic notes, together with delicious ripe black fruits, a little vanilla, spices, and very smooth acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
