Callabriga is a red wine from Casa Ferreirinha that features exuberant and complex aromas. On the side of the black fruit aromas, it reveals ripe plums and blueberries, and on the red fruits shows ripe strawberries and delicious raspberries. It is a rich red wine, dense, opulent with balsamic notes, vanilla, with a long and complex finish.
Winemaking:
Calabriga is a Douro's red wine from Casa Ferreirinha and is produced with Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz, native's grapes of the region. The classical vinification included the tread of the grapes in granitic Lagares and ageing for 12 months in wood oak barrels. The final blend is prepared from a qualitative selection, by barrel and grapes varieties. The final blend underwent a slight filtering prior to bottling.

Tasting Notes:
Callabriga is a very elegant red wine from Casa Ferreirinha, produced in the Douro Valley that has an intense and complex bouquet with a prevalence of ripe black and red fruit aromas.It has a velvet texture with tight but polished tannins with a wonderful and very well integrated acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
