Chryseia 2016 is a majestic, round red wine with polished and fine tannins and intensely fruity. It features incessant notes of black cherries, blackberries, and blueberries, wild nuances, tobacco notes, black chocolate, and vanilla. Of a deep mineral character, it presents an extremely balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Chryseia 2016 is a red wine produced from Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca grapes of old vines with more than 100 years old of age, from the region of Douro. After a long maceration, the fermentation occurred in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature. The wine was stayed, for 14 months, in French and American oak barrels of 400 liters before bottling.

Chryseia 2016 is an elegant, opulent and rich wine from the Douro Region. It features lots of aromatic intensity on the nose, ripe black cherries, plums, wild berries, cocoa notes, and delicious vanilla. With polish and austere tannins it spings notes of minerality as moist soil and rock alongside black fruit and incredible acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18 ° C. Serve at a temperature between 16°C à 18°C.
