Cistus Touriga Nacional is a structured and intensely fruity red wine from the Douro region, which has great density, complexity, and aromatic concentration. It presents intense fragments of aromas of well macerated black fruits, balsamic notes, imposing and austere tannins, and great freshness.
Winemaking:
Cistus Touriga Nacional is a red wine produced from Touriga Nacional, autochthonous red grapes from the Douro wine region. After a long maceration in contact with the skins and stems for 22 days in the cold, the wine fermented in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The wine was transferred to new French oak barrels, where it remained for 15 months before being bottled only with light filtration, so it is, over time, a wine subject to a certain deposit. It must be carefully decanted before being consumed.

Cistus Touriga Nacional is a full-bodied and elegant red wine from the Douro region that has great structure, extremely fragrant aromatic bouquet and creased tannins. It is a wine in which aromas of ripe black fruits stand out along with delicious balsamic nuances, vanilla notes, spices, and dry tobacco leaf along with an extraordinary acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store in a cool place (15ºC). Serve at 16ºC-18ºC.
