Esporão Alicante Bouschet is an extraordinary project by Herdade do Esporão, which managed to enhance all the quality of the grape variety in this high-quality red wine. Showing intense aromas and fleshy tannins, it is an elegant red wine, harmoniously scented and with perfect acidity.
Winemaking:
Esporão Alicante Bouschet is a red wine produced with red grapes of Alicante Bouschet planted in the Alentejo region. After occurred the fermentation process at controlled temperatures the wine stayed in new's French oak barrels for 12 months, and plus 24 months into the bottle.

Tasting Notes:
Esporão Alicante Bouschet is a red wine of enormous quality and elegance. It expresses all the splendour of the terroir, resulting in a fleshy, imposing wine with aromas of ripe black cherries, ripe figs and black plums. It is a wine with tense and fruity tannins, delicate balsamic notes and very balanced acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
