Guarda Rios is an elegant and delicate red wine from the Alentejo wine region. It presents concentrated notes of red fruits, with ripe blackcurrant and ripe black plum present in its bouquet. It has a very firm structure, with fruity and solid tannins together with very well-integrated acidity in a harmonious aromatic core.
Winemaking:
Guarda Rios is a red wine produced with red grapes of Aragonês, Syrah, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet, planted in the Alentejo region. After the fermentation process occurred at controlled temperatures, in stainless steel tanks, the wine was transferred to used French oak barrels for 4 months, where it stayed in contact with fine lees and was subjected to regular stirring prior to being bottled.

Guarda Rios is a red wine that displays an elegant, delicate and aromatically harmonious aromatic profile. It reveals aromas of ripe red fruits, with nuances of black plum, blackberries and blackcurrants. It is a red wine with fruity tannins and very well-integrated acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Storage Lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
