Guarda Rios Signature is a markedly aromatic and complex wine. Presenting aromas of ripe black fruit, it is a red wine deeply marked by aromas of blackberries, cherries and plums, along with notes of dark chocolate, vanilla and dry tobacco leaf. It is still fresh, mineral, with round and full tannins and very balanced acidity.
Winemaking:
Guarda Rios Signature is a red wine produced with red grapes of Syrah, Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, and Aragonez planted in the Alentejo wine region. The fermentation process took place, after a long maceration, in stainless steel tanks, at controlled temperatures. After the fermentation process, the wine was transferred to French oak barrels, where it was stayed, for 12 months, in contact with lees, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Guarda Rios Signature is an elegant, concentrated red wine with a fine and round aromatic bouquet. It presents aromas of black fruits such as black plum, cherry and blackberries, along with balsamic notes, vanilla and dark chocolate. It is a red wine with elegant tannins and polished acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
Store at a temperature of 18°C. Serve at a temperature between 15ºC and 16ºC.
